Pit Stop

It’s the end of the month, money’s tight and those initial sales from family and friends have tailed off.  I've painted and printed and drawn night after night, getting everything ready for my first stockist.  If you haven’t already, then check out @shop_local_collective

Now I’ve handed over the goods,  where do I go next? Do I keep making and feel like I am aimlessly putting it out there into the abyss? Is anybody out there…..? Do I sign up to markets? Which one? Application fees, stall fees, sale fees!! +  Im tired, juggling my other passion (working at the studio) and my side hustle means theres only so much I can  keep rollin’,  ya know.

So when feeling lost, this feels like a pivotal moment. Usually I’d kick in the can and say, “hey I gave it a try” but this time I am really keen to push through that lost feeling. With that in mind, I will say however, I have embraced a solid weekend of rest and my mind feels little lighter.

So whilst I pop my foot back on the gas I’ll keep in mind that we’re all working at different speeds and its okay to slow down some days. :)
