THE OUR MUSEUM PROJECT
The Opportunity: The Our Museum project aims to transform Poole Museum into an outstanding cultural center, a modern thriving cultural space and community hub, greatly enriching the experience of Poole Quay and Old Town. As part of the Poole Museum initiative, they asked me to come up with a selection of graphic call-oust for new community forums using my graphic/abstract style but still keeping sympathetic to the museum. The assets created would be used for both digital and print.
The Solution: I used some of my existing collages and added fuzzy gradients and textured for bold, bright imagery that reflects my own punchy style. Typography needed to remain legible so we worked together and overlaid soft white boxes to soften the designs. I created a host of assets for digital and print within this look and feel. The project nicely reflected my graphic style but remaied sympathetic to Poole Museum.
